Fundamental Bushcraft Course
This week long course aims to give you the most comprehensive introduction to Bushcraft - perfect for both the beginner starting out on their bushcraft journey or for anyone who wants to further their wilderness skills and deep dive into this fascinating subject.
This course covers the all important survival skill basics such as tool use, fire lighting and shelter building through to more advanced wilderness living techniques including wilderness cookery, identifying edible and medicinal plants and animal tracking.

The experience, however, offers so much more than the detailed lessons themselves. As our flagship bushcraft course, this immersive outdoors experience aims to foster your confidence in the outdoors to enable you to have your own outdoor adventures.

Bushcraft Course Details
This course is run from a spectacular ancient oak wood nestled by the banks of the River Tay close to Aberfeldy in Highland Perthshire, Scotland. The site is quiet and secluded with great camping spots and opportunities to swim in the river. The wood is full of wildlife and we are truly privileged to be able to run our courses from this special site.

This site is easily accessible from the A9 and we are only 1.5hrs from both Edinburgh and Glasgow. The closest rail station is at Dunkeld (Birnam). There is a bus service from Dunkeld train station which stops right at the meeting point in Grandtully village or there are several taxi companies in the area who can transfer you from the train station to the course site.
